Bruce Chiefare

Bruce Chiefare began his dance career in 1997 by competing in breakdance battles and went on to win major competitions such as the French Championships in 2001, the World Championships in London in 2004, and other international titles. He went on to represent France at events in South Korea, Los Angeles, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, and elsewhere.
He then moved into the world of choreography, where his movement style truly blossomed. He has performed with companies such as Ethadam, Traffic de style, Régis Obadia, and Käfig-CCN de Créteil (a Franco-Taiwanese project titled Yo Gee Ti). He danced with the Accrorap-CCN de La Rochelle-Kader Attou company in several of its productions (The Roots, Opus 14, Break à Mozart), performing with them in Asia, the United States, Belarus, Germany, the Czech Republic, and elsewhere. He has joined collectives such as Freemindz and Wanted Posse. He serves as a judge in dance battles, and it was only natural that he founded the Flowcus Company in 2017.
Bruce Chiefare’s journey has led him to reflect more deeply on the act of dance. It is within his company, Flowcus, that he has decided to further explore these questions, offering a different perspective on hip-hop while preserving its essence and its raison d’être.
