L’écume des traces

In her new production, Iffra Dia examines the heritage embedded in each of the dancers on stage, whether they are, like her, pioneers of French hip hop or part of the latest generation. Together, they explore their favourite style, breakdancing, breaking the mould of Top Rock and floor work with virtuosity and creativity.
Situated between the work of memory and the tradition of peer-to-peer transmission, L’écume des traces offers its performers an open framework in which to explore the techniques and influences drawn from the various art forms that have shaped their choreographic languages. Set to an original score by Aho Ssan, Iffra Dia and his dancers celebrate a shared world through this new creation.
