The choreographer brings together dancers from diverse backgrounds who share a common thread, teaching them the subtle blend of house dance enriched by the vocabulary of African dance. As cultural and artistic standard-bearers for France’s diverse youth, Paradox-Sal embodies the contemporary feminine “French touch.” Each dancer embodies the diversity and richness of today’s hip-hop dance: contemporary, accessible, and intergenerational. The group’s uniqueness stems from the blend of different styles practiced by the dancers, such as lock, jazz, pop, hype, dancehall, hip-hop, traditional African dances, contemporary, waacking, floorwork, and more. A burst of energy united by a common language: house dance. Since its formation, the group has made a name for itself both in France and abroad by participating in numerous international events (Brazil, Italy, England, the Netherlands, etc.). Four productions for all ages have since been created: Fighting Spirit in 2014, Bounce in 2015, Queen Blood in 2019, and One Shot in 2021. They are now working on their new performance Woman.
