X-trem Fusion

X-trem Fusion is a company of dancers and choreographers dedicated to celebrating African culture—and Cameroonian culture in particular—as well as culture in general, by promoting their art worldwide and building bridges between people and their cultural identities.
Coming from hip-hop, an art form that is somewhat marginalized in Cameroon, they began their journey through battles and competitions. After numerous victories representing Cameroon, they turned their attention to contemporary creation. Proud of their unconventional background and eager to innovate, they are committed to interdisciplinarity, incorporating a variety of artistic practices into their creations—notably through numerous collaborations in music, theater, and the visual arts.
The company has settled in Brittany and is now firmly established in the region. The company’s artists perform on an ad hoc basis or lead regular dance classes at cultural institutions in Ille-et-Vilaine and the Bay of Saint-Brieuc (Le Triangle, the National Choreographic Center of Rennes and Brittany, the Unvs TI association in Saint-Brieuc, and others).
