Shapeshifting

Linda Hayford’s dance is powerfully evocative. Her body, possessed by an animal spirit, suggests fantastical and supernatural forms and figures. Popping, her technique of choice, and her highly mature style are carried by the soundscape created by the musician, DJ and composer Abraham Diallo. In this daring introspection, Linda Hayford invites the audience to feel the states of mind she is experiencing, thus presenting us with her first solo performance.
