Blondy Mota-Kisoka

A dancer since 2001, Blondy practices popping and breakdancing. A specialist in the “robot” technique—also known as “animation”—he excels in this discipline, which requires mastery and precision. Combining flair and power, this showman cut his teeth on the streets.
In 2007, he founded his first group, Illusion Optique, with which he performed street shows combining dance, humor, and whimsy at numerous festivals, notably in Avignon. In 2008, he formed a second group, Street Impact, where virtuosity and pure performance take center stage.
In 2011, Blondy released his first solo project, I ROBOT, and a video of it—recorded by a tourist on the Champs-Élysées—went viral online, racking up several million views. He gained stage experience as a performer with several companies (Compagnie Par Terre, Cie 6e Dimension, Cie YZ).
Blondy also performs in renowned national and international battles such as Juste Debout, Popping Forever, Battle BAD, and Dance Your Style, where he stands out for his style and virtuosity.
