  • Public : For audiences aged 10 and over

In a parallel universe to our own, seven performers form a group of creatures in perfect synergy, mystical and organic, where each has their rightful place, indispensable to the others. This unidentified community is united by a shared movement language, which Linda Hayford devised by drawing on ‘shifting pop’, a choreographic style derived from popping, a discipline in which she specialises. By playing with contractions, releases, muscle isolations and body weight, she creates visual effects such as slow motion, capable of evoking imagery associated with fantasy cinema, science fiction or video games.

Through the fusion of styles, the dancer and choreographer Linda Hayford weaves a thread between multiple emotional and physical states and embarks on an aesthetic exploration of metamorphosis. A meticulously crafted exploration of the body that the choreographer is now taking to a new level, following a solo (Shapeshifting, 2016), a duet (AlShe/Me, 2019) and a trio (Recovering, 2021).
