Danseurs en mouvement autour et sur une table pour le spectacle Opening.
  • Durée : 1h
  • Public : For audiences aged 8 and over

A party with friends, a slightly stuffy atmosphere. Amidst champagne flutes and smartly dressed waiters and waitresses, boredom is not far off. Nothing has been overlooked, not even the DJ. Suddenly, hip hop bursts in and takes hold of the bodies. And the ten dancers alternate between battles and solos, group scenes and moments suspended in apparent nonchalance and renewed grace.
Choreographers Bouzid Ait Atmane and Saïdo Lehlouh celebrate here the disruptive grammar of a counter-culture that never ceases to assert its vitality and creativity. Like a return to the future of the hip-hop movement, Opening is a tribute to its strength, which is more festive and subversive than ever.
