AIShe/Me

With AlShe/Me, Linda Hayford explores her research into metamorphosis and physical transformation in greater depth. In this piece for (and featuring) a brother and sister, the notion of how one influences the other—whether that influence is imposed or not, felt or internalised—takes centre stage. This interplay between the two, navigating subtle similarities and differences, thus seeks to capture the symbiotic bond and connection so unique between two close individuals, which, beyond words and implicit empathy, allows space for the other in all their singularity.
