Random Believer is a one-woman show in which Ndoho Ange explores every dimension of her art. It is an invitation to her contemporary ritual, in which she sheds all her skins. In the style of modern voodoo, James Baldwin, Gilles Deleuze, and Prince appear as gods with whom she engages—discussing her doubts and her story through conversations, karaoke, and lip-sync. Through karaoke, screens, digital music, and dance, Ndoho explores her doubts, her story, and her quest for spirituality in a form that blends the sacred with theatricality.
A multidisciplinary artist, Ndoho Ange explores the spirituality of our time through self-portraits in which dreams and trance are central themes.
