Créations ← Previous PostNext Post → Battle concepts © Jérémie Brudieux Public : For audiences aged 8 and over The Ones, Do It Yourself, Fighting Dance Battle, Le Battle des écoles… Bouzid Ait Atmane devises as many concepts as there are ways to push oneself to the limit through dance by combining other media, playing with conventions, and prioritizing the spirit of the crew. The Ones: “A good crew is made up of individuals who put themselves at the service of the team and a team that puts itself at the service of the individuals.” Building on this observation, Bouzid Ait Atmane has devised The Ones, a 3-on-3 battle concept that highlights the aesthetics and skills of several teams, as well as those of each individual member. Three members per crew are invited to take part in the battle, while a fourth acts as judge. The Ones thus become a moment of competition, camaraderie, and sharing between dancers. A battle where the synergy and chemistry of the moment allow each of them to shine both as part of a group and as a solo performer. Do It Yourself, or the ‘do-it-yourself’ battle, is a competition that unfolds in real time, driven by the audience’s choices. From judging to DJing… Spectators take the reins of this bespoke event and become the masters of the show. On the dance floor, dancers well-versed in the art of the battle take part in this event where the unexpected becomes an opportunity to push their limits and step outside their comfort zone. Fighting Dance Battle A hip hop and Street Fighter battle, co-created as part of the Stunfest festival by 3 Hit Combo and Bouzid Ait Atmane. A unique battle in which two teams face off, each consisting of a hip hop dancer and a fighting game player. The dancers’ performance influences the players’ gameplay and vice versa, affecting the duration of the dance or the health bars of the Street Fighter characters. Online viewers on Twitch can interact with the venue by triggering lighting effects or smoke machines and by voting in real time for their favorite dancers or players, which determines the outcome of the matches. Battle des écoles 700 participants aged 8 to 16, 30 classes, and 20 schools came together for an immersive experience in the world of competitive gaming and gaming culture. On 20 June 2024, at Le Blizz ice rink in Rennes, as part of the Cultural Olympiad. Who would have imagined seeing – in an ice rink – Albator take on Luffy, Mario take on Pikachu, or even Zelda take on Naruto…? In the competition, around thirty classes, decked out in the colors of their favorite animated character or game, are invited to represent their school as a team. Plus, especially for the occasion, choreographed shows by the hottest acts on the international hip-hop scene: Paradox-Sal, Artizans, Sons of Wind, Les Ratz, MazelFreten, and the Nassangar company. Get the popcorn ready and press start: THE battle begins!
