Whether on or off stage, in solo or group performances, Apaches brings together in one place and at one moment dancers who have long been considered marginalised. This project takes a participatory form in order to enrich it and bring it to life with different audiences. In 2024, as part of the Cultural Olympiad for the Paris Games, Saïdo Lehlouh presented a brand-new version of Apaches at the Paris Opera. The performance brought together on the stage of the Palais Garnier 35 dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet and 40 artists from different artistic backgrounds, hip hop and related communities, set to a musical production by former Daft Punk member Thomas Bangalter.
