Kaê Brown Carvalho was born into a family of artists and immersed in dance from a very young age thanks to his parents, Michelle Brown and Armando Pekeno, who lead the Ladaïnha Company.
Introduced to and trained in capoeira and contemporary dance from a young age, and inspired by his parents’ art, he later developed his skills in bboying alongside his brother, Ayã Brown Carvalho.
Later, he co-founded the crew known today as “Les Ratz.” Recognized for his style, which blends the fluidity of contemporary dance with the touch of capoeira, Kaê Brown Carvalho collaborates with the Diving Leaf company and participates in various projects with the FAIR-E Collective, alongside Saïdo Lehlouh and Johanna Faye.
Currently, Kaê shares his vision through various mediums and projects, notably as co-author of the piece *Jogo de Dentro* with Jerson Diasonama, and as co-organizer of the Vortex Jam. He is also dedicated to passing on his experience and expertise within the local hip-hop community, in collaboration with his crew, Les Ratz.

A dancer, artistic director, and photographer, Jerson trained in hip-hop under Imad Nefti. He collaborates with self-taught dancers and choreographers from the hip-hop and contemporary dance scenes, such as Bouba Landrille Tchouda, Sébastien Boucher, and Karim Khouader. By blending freestyle hip-hop with stage performance, he enriches and develops an eclectic movement style that defines him.
Jerson Diasonama collaborated notably with Saïdo Lehlouh and Johanna Faye on the creation of *Earthbound* in 2021. In 2017, he founded Essenscorp, an experimental laboratory exploring the aesthetics of movement by combining performance, image, and sound. In 2022, he won the Danse élargie competition, organized by the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and the Musée de la danse in Rennes in partnership with the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès.
